Jenny E. Bruce has been a Registered Massage Therapist in the Ottawa area since 2004. She works within the Riverside Wellness Centre, treating deep tissue and connective tissue treatments for injury or pain, upper shoulder discomfort, chronic injuries, headaches, low-back pain, postural problems, relaxation, high stress accompanying infertility treatments, or perinatal support, including dula-support and palliative care.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays she is a therapist within the Riverside Wellness Centre, which also offers Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine and Reiki.

“My technique combines varying degrees of pressure to treat underlying problems, while understanding that deep tissue can also be comfortable and enjoyable, yet treatment-specific.

“I will soon be posting my pictures and journal entries from my volunteer effort in Jambiani, Tanzania. A special thanks to all the donors who contributed to the Hands Across Borders Society and supported my work there.”
